This past week was a weird one. For complicated reasons, both Cassidy and Mom’s steps spanned more than a week, so they can’t be in the running for the top three. It was also Thanksgiving week, so many people’s steps were down…
This week is pretty much over, but this next week – let’s make it our best showing yet! As Cassidy said, we've been walking for a long time, yet we’re still in Utah! Time to step it up!
Oh, and p.s., don’t forget to send me your steps for last week.
Steps
This week we walked 423,263 steps, which is 169 miles.
Top Walkers
Our top walker this week is Dad, with 70,188 steps. Next is Lexi, with 68,726 steps. Our third place walker is Keith, with 49,226 steps. (Sorry, Keith, but I had to put you in there…other people were either disqualified or were pretty low.)
Where are we now?
As you recall, last time we were 45 miles past Moab, Utah, sort of in the middle of nowhere.
This past week, we walked 71 miles and reached the Colorado border!!! Yes! We escaped Utah.
And we don't know this guy, but he was at the border, cheering us on. Go Ronkeelarstroms!:
Welcome to Colorado.
Then we walked 98 more miles, but that just got us further into Colorado but not to any city. We’re on our way to Redstone, CO, and possibly to Buena Vista, CO.
Just remember to up your steps this week! Set a walking goal, and let’s reach it!
To sum up
Steps walked this week: 423,263
Miles walked this week: 169
Total miles walked: 1627
Where we are: 98 miles past the Colorado border
Where we’re going: Redstone, Colorado
Keep on a goin!
Love,
Holli

We should do better next week. Hillari found her pedometer and we bought Sareny yet another "dometer" (updated pronunciation). At least they are only $3.88 at Wal-Mart. I don't know who is going to drive the van.
P.S. Driving for 6 hours does not help the step count.
I'm so glad you guys all found the dometers. Now if only they can STAY found!
Speaking of staying found...Hillari lost her's yesterday. She went on a walk and by the end of the walk it was missing. At least there is room in the van. We should just buy 3 or 4 extras this next time. The Wal-mart by us will think that pedometers are the hot product this year.
