Week 30 -- Corydon and Deam Lake, Indiana
Hi walkers! Bet you thought that walk across America was dead, didn't you? Well,it's not.
This update is from the week of March 23 through March 29.
Steps
This week we walked 341,969 steps, which is 137 miles.
Top Walkers
Our top walker this week was Mom with 69,323 steps. In second place was Dad with 48,767 steps, and in third place was Keith with 44,024 steps.
Where are we now?
If you remember back awhile, we left off 32 miles past St. Meinrad, Indiana.
This week we walked 64 miles to Corydon Indiana. We had a fun time there...we took a lovely train ride through the trees and then we camped out at the Hayswood Park and Nature Reserve campsite:
After our refreshing night camping, we were back on the trail and walked 48 miles to Deam Lake Indiana, where we went fishing:
After Deam Lake we walked 25 miles and didn't get anywhere.To sum up
