Week 29 -- St. Meinrad, Indiana

Hello, walkers! We're trying to get all caught up on the updates, so here is another one. (Here's another one, here's another one! -- Barney, for those of you who need reminding) This update is from March 16th through the 22nd.

Steps

This week we walked 226,762 steps, which is 90 miles.

Top Walkers

Our top walker this week was Dad with 60,687 steps. In second place was Keith with 44,860 steps, and in third place was Holli with 35,769 steps.

Where are we now?

If you remember yesterday's update, we left off about 7 miles past Evansville, Indiana.

This week we walked 58 miles and got to St. Meinrad, Indiana. While in St. Meinrad, we stopped in at the Saint Meinrad Archabbey, where we learned that it had been founded by monks from Switzerland because of the growing German-speaking population in Indiana:


After we listened in on the evening prayer, we walked 32 more miles and didn't get anywhere. Next time we'll reach Corydon, Indiana.
